It is my belief that our lives are composites of small incidents, events, and experiences that interconnect to form the fabric of our existence.  While we are living each moment independently, we often forget to consider how it fits into the bigger picture of our personal histories.  It is my understanding that while each moment of our lives is beautiful on its own, they are more beautiful when we realize how they settle in as one. Through my work, I seek to gain understanding of how each of our life’s individual experiences – positive and negative – come together to formulate our sense of being and place.

Using glass as my primary medium is essential to my exploration of this theme.  No other material has the ability to convey strength and fragility while being effortlessly beautiful.
